Ordered Gyro bar as catering for my gender reveal backyard gathering. The food was absolutely delicious and the quantity received was more than enough. Most attendees went up for seconds. Everything from the bread, meats (gyro, chicken & cevapi), rice, salad, taziki sauce, and to the hummus was so flavorful. Lastly the service was professional and right on time. Thank you Cafe Mediterano so so much for helping making our event a success!
if i was a rich man i would eat here every day. unfortunately i am not so i’m limited to the occasional treat. price is perfect for what you get don’t get me wrong. atmosphere is as expected from a local family run restaurant. definitely one of my favorites. i get the chicken pita every time, but devoured it before i remembered to take a picture so attached is my #cleanplateclub
Absolutely the best Greek salad! Lots of really fresh ingredients. I don't care for the oil dressing....so I just use my own at home. Delicious baklava!!!

Don't let the location fool you this is a tasty cafe. This is quality gyro, hummus, and falafel. I suggest the gyro,chicken, and falafel combo. Be hungry because it'll fill you up. Top it off with their tzatziki sauce.
Had the most delightful experience at Cafe Mediterraneo. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that truly set the tone for our evening. Special thanks to Domenic, Deborah, Ava, Yvonne, and Emily for going above and beyond to make our Valentine's Day dinner unforgettable. Despite a mistake on our end with the reservation, they graciously accommodated us and ensured that we had a wonderful dining experience. The ambiance of Cafe Mediterraneo is charming and inviting, with cozy seating and tasteful decor that transports you to the Mediterranean coast. The menu offers a delectable array of Mediterranean-inspired dishes, each expertly prepared with fresh, flavorful ingredients. We started our meal with the bruschetta, which was bursting with vibrant flavors and served on perfectly toasted bread. For our main course we had a gnocchi dish with house made sauce and chicken Marsala , a true masterpiece of culinary artistry. To top it all off, we enjoyed a decadent dessert special of the night a strawberry cake that was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. Throughout our dining experience, the staff at Cafe Mediterraneo provided impeccable service, ensuring that every aspect of our evening was flawless. I can't recommend Cafe Mediterraneo highly enough (we come everytime we’re in Portsmouth) for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable dining experience in Portsmouth. The new location is awesome. The decor and dine in seating is pleasant modern bistro style. The best gyros in the area and a must go-to place for lunch if you work in Essex. I love the gyro on the traditional roll.... It is huge and the roll is perfect compliment and pushes the goodness to next level .
